29/08/2026 – Annual membership fees and bowls locker application forms.
Annual Membership Fees are due by the end of September for both Full and Social Members.
Annual Locker fees are also due then.
Lockers: A new form for applying for a locker has been put in place where the member signs off that the locker key must be returned to the Bar when the locker is no longer required, for reallocation to the next member on the waiting list. Lockers are not transferrable. If you currently have a locker, this year you will be asked to also sign this form when you pay your annual fee.

14/08/2026 – Farewell Betty Rudd.
After 29 years of being a member of our Club, Betty is leaving the island. Betty served on the Ladies Committee numerous times including being President. But she is best known for her happy and fun loving nature. We wish Betty all the best in her move and know she will certainly be missed.
13/08/2026 – SLBC ladies representing MBDBA.
Moreton Bay District recently held a Challenge Match against Gateway District at Club Pine Rivers. Moreton Bay District was successful in reclaiming the Novice Ladies Trophy and the Senior Ladies Trophy.
Solander Lake Bowls Club had 2 players selected to compete in the Senior team, Debra Hill and Vicki Mitchell. Debbie Jackson was selected to play in the Novice Team.
